About

Art Quam Anima Publishing is an independent publisher specialising in art theory, crossmodal research, and the documentation of artistic practice. It was founded by Arnaud Quercy as the editorial arm of the Art Quam Anima ecosystem.

The press publishes two categories of work: free PDF editions — research papers, essays, and working documents made openly available for scholarly and public use — and premium editions, including print and enhanced digital formats available for purchase.

All publications are assigned persistent URIs and, where applicable, DOIs via Zenodo, ensuring long-term accessibility and citability.

Editorial focus

The publishing programme centres on Ideamorphism — a practice-based theoretical framework developed by Arnaud Quercy — and related fields: crossmodal perception, the philosophy of artistic creation, and the documentation of ongoing research at the intersection of visual art, music composition, and cognitive science.

Publications range from foundational theoretical texts to exhibition catalogues, series monographs, and working papers issued by the Multimodal Institute.
